Iranian Musicians Union is certified by the ministry of labour and social affairs, approved by the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Geneva and is a member of the Federation of International Musicians (FIM) in Paris.
The goal of Iranian Musicians Union according its statute is to fulfil members’ rights and lawful demands through providing suitable grounds to achieve union aims, defend and support of professional and social rights and interests of all members generally by recommendation and attraction of governmental and national authorities and organizations.
All artists who are eligible under the following conditions can obtain membership of the union: manufacturers of musical instruments, instructors, players, composers, song writers and singers. Only eligible private sector music activists under the union’s field of activity by submitting valid artistic documents recognized by technical committee and union’s board of poems.
Goals of the Federation of International Musicians (FIM) according to its statute is to unite and unify musicians from various countries into one global organization with the aim of protecting and improving financial, social, artistic and defending musicians as both music players and producers of their own performances (it means copy right).
