The beginning of this surah with the broken letters "Ta" and "Ha" is the reason why it is named "Taha". The command to convey the revelation by the Prophet (PBUH) without making himself difficult, pointing to the greatness of the Qur'an and also emphasizing moderation and moderation in everything, even in prayer and worship, are among the topics of this chapter. In this surah, the story of Adam and the story of his descent from heaven and the story of Prophet Moses (pbuh) have been discussed in detail. Allameh Tabatabai considers the main purpose of this surah to be warning and good news through telling the stories of past peoples. According to Makarem Shirazi, one of the contemporary commentators, Surah Taha, like other Meccan surahs, talks more about the origin and resurrection and enumerates the results of monotheism and the miseries of polytheism. The eighth verse about Asma al-Hasni, verses 25 to 28 about the request of Musa (pbuh) to describe the Sadr and verse 124 about the difficulty of life when you neglect the remembrance of God are among the famous verses of Surah Taha. Verses 14, 130 and 132 of this sura about effort to pray at different times of the day and night have been considered among the verses of its commands. In virtue of reciting this Surah from the Prophet (PBUH), whoever recites Surah Taha, God will give him the reward of all the emigrants and Ansar on the Day of Resurrection.
